About Joe Ferraro
I have had a passion for photography for over a decade now. I am an engineer by nature and training but wanted to do something different. I wanted to start using the artistic side of my mind. Photography seemed to be a perfect fit and it has been a blast.
I primarily photograph family portraits and landscapes around the New Jersey shore area. Photography gives me a way to capture moments at a particular point in time. Whether it’s a baby’s face or an ocean scene, it will change with time. Even our memories will fade over time but the photograph will give you a way back to that time/place and a chance to relive that moment.
When photographing landscapes my goal is to photograph scenes so that viewers can have a sense of what it is like to be there. When I photograph families I want to show the uniqueness of the individuals and bonds between everyone.
I feel extremely lucky to work in a business that I love; where going to work is the equivalent of going outside to play.
